Colloidal Silver: Overview
Colloidal (coal-Lloyd-al) Silver is a specialized preparation of pure metallic silver used as a natural anti-microbial agent. Many people are familiar with the antiseptic properties of silver salts such as silver nitrate, which is used to protect the eyes of newborns against bacterial infection. The term colloidal indicates that the silver particles have been suspended in a liquid solution using an electric charge.
