Our Authentic African Black Soap is handcrafted from a centuries-old recipe that uses Certified Fair Trade unrefined shea butter base from cooperatives in Africa. We add ash extract to hot oils, cook the mixture until it becomes charcoal, then cure it in the sun for three weeks to create a detoxifying, multi-purpose soap suitable for any skin type, even the most sensitive.

Apply to your washcloth of choice and work into a soft lather. Rinse thoroughly. Follow with our EveryDay Shea or EveryDay Coconut Lotion. Great for daily, multi-purpose use - try it as a facial cleanser, shampoo, hand soap or shaving lotion.
