Deer antler has been one of the most highly respected vitalizing tonics of Asia since the time of Confucius (551 B.C.) more than 2,000 years ago. Deer antler contains many organic compounds that are integral to the health of bone and tissue such as phospho-and glycolipids, collagen, and glycosaminoglycans. It also contains a growth factor (growth factor 1) which is an integral part of joints and skeletal tissues.
