Pau d'Arco ("pow darko"), known botanically as Tabebuia impetiginosa is species of tree native to Brazil. The inner bark is harvested from Pau d'Arco trees and used as an herbal-medicinal compound.
Pau d'Arco is used for its purifying properties and as a "blood cleanser". Pau d'Arco has mild diuretic properties and is sometimes used as part of a detoxification protocol.
