Feverfew Supplements: Information

Feverfew is a medicinal herb grown worldwide including the USA and California in particular. Feverfew has traditionally been used for a range of disorders including fevers of any type, from which its name is derived. Other uses include headaches, joint pain and digestive problems but most modern use of feverfew centers around headaches, especially migraine headaches, for which feverfew has been studied and marketed as a potential aid.1

Feverfew's Health Benefits

Feverfew's mechanism of action may be inhibiting the release of serotonin and prostaglandins, both of which act upon blood vessels in the head. The active ingredients in feverfew include parthenolide and tanetin; Best results are seen with standardized extracts of feverfew versus non-extracted preparations.

Using Feverfew Supplements
