Hypothyroidism and cured my bladder infection

Hypothyroidism runs in my family. I always had a low temp but never knew it meant anything, until I found out I have ADHD (which can be caused by or worsened by an under active thyroid). I started taking this every few days when I started supplementing l-tyrosine and 5-htp for the ADHD and I think it really helped. I can't find medical studies stating dangerous consequences at high doses except for some people with Goiters including disease of the thyroid (so talk to your doctor because if you have a diseased thyroid too much iodine can shut it down). I also developed my second aggressive bladder infection/UTI since my c-section (you get loaded with antibiotics during surgery). Lots of constant pain and swelling in my bladder which I ignored until I started to worry. The day I used this to cure my UTI I didn't have time to go to urgent care until late that night, but I was in pain. Recalling iodine can fight bacteria (i don't remember how) I took just one pill early on an empty stomach, and within hours of that I stopped having pain in the bladder and my "frequency" went back to normal within hours. One week later I went to the Dr to confirm no infection and I was told I'm all clear. Naturopaths recommend D-mannose, but this seemed right for me to kill bacteria rather than flush it with D-mannose.
