Protect your canker sore and help it heal at the same time with this convenient canker cover.
The DenTek Canker Sore Relief Patch is actually more than a canker sore treatment. It uses clinically tested protective patch technology to help relieve pain and promote healing of canker sores, mouth ulcers, and injuries such as traumatic ulcers caused by self-biting, braces, and ill-fitting dentures.
It's meant to be used as a wound dressing, similar to a bandage on skin, that protects gum tissue by forming a physical barrier on the wound tissue to avoid further irritation and relieve pain.

Manufacturer's Directions
1. Cleanse the affected area of mouth with clean water.
2. Remove any excess moisture with gauze.
3. Remove the backer from the patch and apply the adhesive side to the affected area of the mouth.
4. DO NOT use on deep wounds or if the area of your mouth is still bleeding.
5. Gently press the patch for 5 seconds while the patch adheres to the wound.
6. If the patch has hardened, wet the adhesive side with water for 5 seconds.
7. Leave the patch on the wound for up to 4 hours. DO NOT remove patch with force: the adhesive surface with deteriorate and the protective surface can be spit out. The time will vary depending on the oral environment, but usually the patch lasts up to 4 hours.
8. Eat and drink in moderation while in use.
Note: If the patch does not stick to the wound, please apply a moderate amount of water or saliva to increase adhesive strength.

-Not storing Canker Relief Patch as directed may cause issues with adhesion and absorbability.
