Like all of our rolled oats, we start with the world's finest oat groats. Our Extra Thick Rolled Oats are simply rolled thicker, to produce a hearty bowl that retains all of the dietary fiber and nutrients of the oat bran, germ and endosperm.

Top it with whatever you like - even peanut butter - or use these oats to make the best chewy oatmeal cookies you've ever tasted.

Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Extra Thick Rolled Oats, reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes (or longer for creamier oatmeal). Remove from heat and let stand for 2 minutes.

MICROWAVE INSTRUCTIONS: In a large bowl, combine 1/2 cup Extra Thick Rolled Oats, 1 cup water and a pinch of salt. Cover and microwave on high for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Stir well before eating. Makes 1 serving.
