vanilla not very filling, price increased a lot in 3 months
I've been using natural whey protein powders for over 20 years. Have tried different brands--Optimum Nutrition, MetRx, and lately Body Strong. Mostly get the chocolate flavor, but have had ON and MR brand vanilla occasionally. Body STrong was out of chocolate for a while, so I ordered vanilla. For some reason, the vanilla doesn't fill me up. It mixes up thinner in the blender that their chocolate and all the flavors of my other brands have--even with ice, frozen fruit, and flax seed. My stomach is growling in just a few hours; I can usually go up to 6 hours on the shakes without feeling hungry. I don't know why the vanilla is so thin and unfilling. I'm ordering chocolate ASAP now that back in stock to see if there's a difference in experience. Did they change formula?
Also, noticed the price increased a LOT since my last order. Used to get the 5lb. for $50 and the 10# for $100. Checked stock today and all the flavors are now $70 and $146!

good value
good product a few seconds in a vita mix at on speed is enough to completely mix into my coffee. I switched after MRM changed formula to a terrible hydration and taste.

No junk or fillers
Mixes fast and doesnt taste weird like some unflavored ones. Very satisfied with all the body strong products Ive had.

Thank you "Body Strong," the Natural Unflavored Body Strong Protein Powder Saved my Life!
I have an adverse reaction to artificial sugars and/or sugar substitutes. In my effort to take control of my life and tackle weight loss, I joined a physician controlled weight loss program which required me to have a protein shake regimen. Unknowingly, I started taking the popular name brand protein shakes and had severe reactions as all of them contain a sugar substitute or acritical sugars. (including their natural powders).
All seemed bleak, until I discovered "Body Strong" Natural which does not contain those sugars. I can make a healthy protein shake and add vegetables, fruit, beet sugar, date sugar, etc. to continue my health journey without having to worry about having a reaction to ingredients.

Beware
So, I'm always on the lookout for bargain proteins and thought this one was a dream find. I mean, who could beat 10lb for $87?! Well, after using this protein for a few weeks I started to notice one of my eyes getting very blurry. I went to the eye doctor and they told me there was fluid under my retina. He asked me a battery of questions that he thought might be the culprit, but nothing turned up. UNTIL...he asked if I take protein supplements. I told him I did and that I had been using a new brand (BodyStrong). He told me that some protein powders have something in them that will cause this issue to happen with people's eyes. He had seen it in other athletes.
Sure enough, I stopped taking the protein and within the week my eye sight was back to normal and has been perfect ever since. And that happened a few years ago. I just ran across this protein again today and remembered that story and thought I'd share. I've taken other proteins since and haven't had any issues.
