What is Quercetin?
Quercetin (CURE-sit-in) is a naturally occurring bioflavonoid found in high concentrations in red wine, onions, green tea and other foods. As an antioxidant flavonol (a subclass of flavonoids) quercetin may also provide cardiovascular protection by reducing oxidation of LDL cholesterol and lowering systolic blood pressure.1
Quercetin's Health Benefits
Bioflavonoids like quercetin have powerful antioxidant properties and support healthy histamine levels for balanced immune function. In addition, clinical studies have demonstrated that quercetin may support prostate health and fertility.2
